Privacy Policy

Plain-language summary: VYPORT works locally in your browser. We do not operate extension analytics, advertising, telemetry, or media-collection servers.

Page access

VYPORT inspects the active page only after you open the extension popup or select Scan Again. It looks for supported media identifiers in the active page and accessible frames. It does not install a permanent content script that inspects every page you visit.

Network requests

For detected supported media, VYPORT requests media metadata directly from the media host. When you open or download an asset, your browser requests the selected asset URL supplied by that host.

These requests are made directly between your browser and the media host. Normal network information, including your IP address and standard HTTP headers, may be visible to that host and its delivery providers under their own privacy terms.

Information we do not receive

The extension does not send page titles, browsing history, detected media identifiers, media URLs, metadata, or downloaded files to the VYPORT publisher.

Storage

The current extension does not persist browsing history, media identifiers, media URLs, metadata, or download history in extension storage. Temporary results exist only while the popup or browser process needs them.

Downloaded files are handled by your browser or the media host's direct download response. VYPORT does not upload downloaded files.

Clipboard

VYPORT writes a selected MP4 URL to your clipboard only when you press Copy URL.

Website and payments

The launch website does not currently use analytics, accept payments, create accounts, or collect form submissions. This policy will be updated before any of those practices are introduced. A third-party merchant-of-record may process future purchases under its own privacy terms; VYPORT will not collect payment-card details directly.

User responsibility

VYPORT is intended only for media you own or are explicitly authorized to download. It does not grant rights to third-party content and does not bypass authentication, DRM, paywalls, or access controls.
